Eastern White Pine......an excellent choice in furniture wood specie. Grown in the Northeastern area of New England, as well as the Northern Midwestern states and up into Canada, this Pine specie is sought for it's machining characteristics, the way it takes a finish whether it is stain or paint. The colder climate that it grows in gives it tighter growth rings for better density, a warm difference in color consistancy that furniture and cabinet builders alike prefer to work with.
